What a custom domain is

A domain is your own web address, like yourname.com. You buy it from a domain company, then connect it to AnimoFolio so your portfolio opens on it instead of its AnimoFolio link.

Connect it

You can remove the domain at any time; your portfolio stays online at its AnimoFolio address. If your paid plan ends, visitors are sent to your AnimoFolio address, and upgrading turns the domain back on.

  1. Open Account settings and find Custom domain.
  2. Enter the domain you own.
  3. Add the records AnimoFolio shows you in the DNS settings of the company where you bought the domain.
  4. Come back and check again. DNS changes can take from a few minutes to 48 hours.
